Loyalty Day is held at 12:00 Noon, in Wilbraham
Park as a day of patriotism. Enacted in 1958 by President Eisenhower
through an act of Congress, Loyalty Day celebrates the American
people and their patriotic courage. This event is organized
annually by the Peterson Little Post #386 of the Veterans of
Foreign War.
Saturday May 15rd 9:00 - 2:00 PM.
We will offer recycling at it's finest
with the WCM Borough wide Yard Sale.
The sale will be advertised in local papers.
Set up in front of your home.
Sell your stuff, come Rain or come shine!.

Includes: White items (sinks, refrigerators)
furniture, electronics, mattresses, boards,
limbs and bundled wood.

Sponsored by the West Cape May Business Association, the Strawberry Festival has become an eagerly anticipated event each spring. Strawberries abound in both edible and non edible form. The Greater C.M. Historical Society invite you to help preserve a piece of history and enjoy a beautiful day in the Borough of West Cape May at Wilbraham Park Tourists and locals alike will find it fun looking (and buying) the many antiques and wares offered. West Cape May Farm Market at the "BACKYARD" Park
By popular demand, the market will once again run a full ten weeks, beginning June 29 – August 31, 2010, each Tuesday between 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The market is located at the West Cape May Municipal Complex at the Backyard Park, 732 Broadway. Celebrating our fifth year in this beautiful location, we have had great success and wonderful support. We look forward to another bountiful season!
Rain or shine, the Market will be open! The Market features not only fresh produce and herbs, but, among others, purveyors of antiques; live art demonstrations;fresh coffee; barbecue, seafood and kettle corn. Also in the lineup are children's activities!
Come for the produce...linger for the wonderful sense of community as the sun begins to dip. Grab a lite dinner from one of our vendors, share some time with family and friends and relax listening to a variety of local musical talent between 5:00 and 7:00pm. Annie Mullock is at the helm for this wonderful community event and hopes to bring in more artists and unusual vendors, as well as increasing the involvement of young people in the event each year.
Beginning with the Tuesday, June 29th Farmer’s Market opening, the Borough will present 10 weeks of music entertainment. Come and have dinner and enjoy music presented Tuesday evenings thru August 31st with family, friends and neighbors. Call 609 884-1005 extension 9 for information.

The WCM Elementary School PTA "Art in the Park" is the place to be mid-summer. Held in the Wilbraham Park from 12:00 NOON till 8:00PM, this event will be featuring local artists and fine crafters with food samplings and music! The Ladies Auxiliary of the Peterson Little Post
#386 Flea Market offers plenty to choose from.
Proceeds from this event fund scholarships, for children
in local elementary schools. Recipients are determined
through a written essay contest. Come share the fun in
the Wilbraham Park. This event's rain date is 08/15/10.

The History Committee of West Cape May returns to Wilbraham Park to host an "Art in the Park event." This vibrant group of volunteers works steadfastly to ensure that everyone in our community learns about WCM history! This fundraiser will help defray the costs of their ongoing research. The Tomato festival Application
Back by popular demand, the West Cape May Tomato Festival returns to Wilbraham Park, celebrating the Jersey Fresh Tomato and the end of the summer season! Festivities begin at 9:00 AM and continue until 5:00PM. Proceeds from this quirky event benefit the WCM Shade Tree Commission in their endeavor to protect & improve the tree canopy of WCM. WCM Christmas Parade Fundraiser in the Park Application
The WCM Community Christmas Parade Fund Raiser
is held in Wilbraham Park, to benefit the annual parade (see
below!) The event features plenty of hometown treats,
entertainment, and good company. A high light of the day
comes when the new Christmas Parade Queen and her Court
are crowned from among our local school children. Rain

The Lima Bean Festival Application
West Cape May celebrates her farming heritage with the Annual
Lima Bean Festival in Wilbraham Park! The lowly
legume takes center stage beginning at 9:00AM and delights
locals and visitors alike with her vast array of recipes,
crafts and products available. The fun continues till
5:00PM, but plan to stop by early so you don’t
miss a trick (or the great entertainment!) The event

December 4th
Always the first Saturday in December, The WCM Community
Christmas Parade sets the stage for the areas
holiday season. Now in her 45th year, the parade steps
off at 5:00PM sharp from the WCM Volunteer Firehouse
and marches South on Broadway, winds East on Perry, and
onto Carpenter Lane in the City of Cape May. Under the
able leadership of Parade Lady Charlotte Daily, a small army of volunteers
assembles an unforgettable hometown memory each year!
The Parade reschedules to 12/5/10 in the case of inclement
weather.
