Emergency Generator – USDA FY 2008 Water & Sewer Replacement Project

  • Status: 

 

  • USDA has determined the purchase of an emergency generator for pump station power outages is an eligible expenditure.
  • Bids were opened on March 18, 2010.
  • One bid was received.
  • The submitted bid was reviewed and determined to be a “conditional bid.”
  • Remington, Vernick & Walberg has recommended rejection of the bid and to re-bid the Contract.
  • R V & W is checking NJ Cooperative Purchase Program to see if equipment is available.
  • Procurement through NJCPP is acceptable to USDA.

 

            USDA Water and Waste Application:

  • Status: 

 

  • Pre-application being prepared by Triad Associates.
  • Tentative schedule
  • Pre-Application Submission review to be completed week of April                       19, 2010.
  • Invitation to Submit Full Application  – April 26, 2010
  • Full Application Submittal – May 30, 2010
  • USDA Review of Full Application – May 30, 2010 to July 1, 2010
  • USDA Grant/Loan Offer – July 1 to August 1, 2010
  • At present, USDA is offering 30% grant and a 70% loan @ 2% interest for 40 years.
