Engineering Report

 

Borough of West Cape May

 

            USDA FY2003 Water & Sewer Replacement Project – Remote Water Meter Reading System:

 

  • Status: 
  • The Borough had requested and USDA has given approval to execute the construction contracts with In-Line Services, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder, in the amount of $96,805.00.

 

  • Remington, Vernick & Walberg has put the contract documentation together and has forwarded to In-Line Services, Inc. for signature.
  • Upon receipt of executed contracts, Remington, Vernick & Walberg will forward to the Borough for signature.

 

  • Upon full execution of the contract, Remington, Vernick & Walberg will forward two (2) copies to USDA.
  • Upon receipt of the completely executed contracts by USDA, USDA will schedule a pre-construction meeting.

           

 

            NJDOT Municipal Aid:  

 

  • Grant application has been approved by NJDOT in the amount of $143,000.00.   Work includes reconstruction of Sixth Avenue beginning at CR 607 (Bayshore Road) and proceeding easterly.
  • All work has been completed.

 

  • Contractor to prepare and submit final payment request and close out documentation.

 

            Park Boulevard Bike Path:

  • Close-out package, with the CFO certification, was sent to NJDOT on February 23, 2009.  Subsequent to NJDOT approval, the Borough can draw down the remaining 25% of the grant monies.
