Engineering Report

Borough of West Cape May

            USDA FY2003 Water & Sewer Replacement Project – Remote Water Meter Reading System:

• Status: 

• Construction is complete.  All installed meters have been tested and are presently readable through the remote reading system.  

• The project is in the Final Close-Out Phase.

• Payment Certification No. 4 and Change Order No. 2-Final have been executed by the Contractor and Remington, Vernick & Walberg and have been forwarded to the Borough for signatures.

            NJDOT Municipal Aid: 

• Status: 

• All work has been completed.

• NJDOT has reviewed and approved Change Order #4 - Final.

• Board of Commissioners to pass resolution to accept and pay Change Order #4 - Final.

• The project is in the Final Close-Out Phase.

• Required forms for the reimbursement of funds to the Borough have been prepared and forwarded to the CFO for signature.

            Park Boulevard Bike Path Phase II:

• Status: 

• R V & W prepared and submitted an application for NJDOT funding of Phase II, between Emerald Avenue and Central Avenue.  The notification date is October, 2009 as NJDOT continues to review the applications.
