Emergency Generator – USDA FY 2008 Water & Sewer Replacement Project

• Status: 

• Bids were opened on July 8, 2010.
• The Borough Solicitor has reviewed the bid documents and concurred with RV&W recommendation to award the contract to Cummins Power Systems.
• The Borough has signed the contracts.  The contracts to be forwarded to USDA for final approval to award.

            USDA Water and Waste Application:

• Status: 
• USDA has invited the Borough to submit a full application.
• RV&W has proceeded with the preparation of the USDA required Preliminary Engineering Report and Environmental Report on the anticipation of USDA’s invitation to submit a full application.
• Kickoff meeting was held with USDA on July 27, 2010.
• USDA has requested the application be submitted within 30 days of the kickoff meeting.

            FY2011 NJDOT Trust Fund Municipal Aid Program:

• Status: 
• Applications are due August 13, 2010.
• RV&W has submitted the Phase 2 Park Boulevard Bike Path for both Municipal Aid and Bikeway funding on July 28, 2010.
• Borough to pass ordinances (2) approving the submission of the applications at the August 11, 2010 Commissioner’s meeting.

            Cape Manor Supportive Housing:

• Status: 
• Sanitary sewer extension is complete.
• Temporary pavement repair is complete.
• Final pavement to be placed no earlier than September 21, 2010 per Ordinance.
