Borough of West Cape May
Emergency Generator – USDA FY 2008 Water & Sewer Replacement Project
- USDA has determined the purchase of an emergency generator for pump station power outages is an eligible expenditure.
- Bids were opened on May 13, 2010.
- Two bids were received.
- The Borough Solicitor has recommended rejection of both bids and to re-bid the Contract.
- Project to be re-advertised June 19th, June 24th and June 27th with bids to be opened July 8, 2010 at 10:00 A.M.
USDA Water and Waste Application:
- Status:
- Pre-Application has been submitted to USDA for review by Triad Associates.
- At present, USDA is offering 30% grant and a 70% loan @ 2% interest for 40 years.
- Triad following up with USDA. At this time, no anticipated date given by USDA.
