Engineering Report
Borough of West Cape May
Park Boulevard Bike Path Phase II:
- R V & W prepared and submitted an application for NJDOT funding of Phase II, between Emerald Avenue and Central Avenue. NJDOT continues to review the applications. The Application was denied.
Emergency Generator – USDA FY 2008 Water & Sewer Replacement Project
- USDA has determined the purchase of an emergency generator for pump station power outages is an eligible expenditure.
- Borough has authorized Remington, Vernick & Walberg Engineers to proceed with Bid Documents.
- Borough to authorize advertisement for bids. Open bids on March 11, 2010.
USDA Water and Waste Application:
- Pre-application being prepared by Triad Associates.
- Tentative schedule
- Pre-Application Submission – On or before February 12, 2010
- Invitation to Submit Full Application – February 28, 2010
- Full Application Submittal – March 15, 2010
- USDA Grant/Loan Offer – April 15-May 1, 2010
- At present, USDA is offering 30% grant and a 70% loan @ 2% interest for 40 years.
