PLANNING-ZONING BOARD
 MEETING – December 15, 2009

 

The Regular Meeting of the Borough of West Cape May Planning-Zoning Board, held at the Municipal Building, 732 Broadway, was called to order by Chairperson Mulligan at 7:00 PM.  After reading the Open Public Meetings Act of 1975 he led all present in the flag salute.

MINUTES:  On motion of Chris Shriver, seconded by Ramsey Geyer, the minutes of November 10, 2009 were approved on roll call vote as follows: Rea, Kulkowitz and Novak abstaining, all remaining members present voting in the affirmative.

Resolution APP 08-09 Wilbraham Mansion:  On motion of Chris Shriver, seconded by Ramsey Geyer, was memorialized on roll call vote as follows:  Rea, Kulkowitz and Novak abstaining, all remaining members present voting in the affirmative.

APP 06-09 Minor Subdivision for Pigshore Perfect, LLC, 275 Fifth Avenue, Block 52, Lot 46:  Louis Dwyer represented the applicant in seeking minor subdivision.  His Clients Chris McDuell and Matthew McGrail were sworn in.  Attorney Dwyer stated his clients were seeking a minor subdivision in the R2 district, creating two lots with a variance for side yard setback.   After summation by Attorney Dwyer, Chairperson Mulligan opened the public hearing to residents within 200 feet.  No objections were made.  On motion of Mark Kulkowitz, seconded by Chris Shriver, the board approved to close the public session by unanimous roll call vote.

After discussion by Board Members, Solicitor Brock Russell reviewed the conditions required.  On motion by Chris Shriver, seconded by Mark Kulkowitz the board granted approval for Minor subdivision with conditions by unanimous roll call vote.
 

 

PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR:  

Chairman Mulligan asked the Board to review meeting dates for 2010 and report any conflicts to the Board Secretary.

Chairman Mulligan also invited the Board to attend the Wind Symposium for Local Governments on Friday, January 15th 2010 at Richard Stockton College.  Members are to RSVP to Board Secretary by December 22.

Mark Kulkowitz mentioned the Mad Batter in Cape May Historic District was approved for Solar Panels.

Chairman Mulligan highlighted some events/vendors from the League of Municipalities.

 

ADJOURNMENT:  On motion of  Mark Kulkowitz, seconded by Chris Shriver, and carried by unanimous voice vote, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
